Raphael Eschmann

Study and completion in 1975 of Diploma in Ophthalmic Optics and Optometry at the Höhere Fachschule für Augenoptik und Optometrie SFOF (today the BEUTH Hochschule für Technik) in Berlin.

 

1975–1978 collaboration on the research and development of new CL materials and geometries at Titmus-Eurocon (today CibaVision).

 

Since 1978 work at his own Institute for Ophthalmic Optics and Optometry.

 

1998 graduation with a Master of Science in Clinical Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). Since 2001 Visiting Associate Professor at the PCO of SALUS University in Philadelphia, USA; member of the faculty doing in scientific work.

 

As of 2019, he will continue to be associated with Eschmann-Contactlinsen as a mentor and be available for occasional assignments in day-to-day business.

 

Member of the Swiss Society of Ophthalmic Optics and Optometry (SSOO), the German Association of Contact Lens Specialists and Optometrists (VDCO), Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and Fellow of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA).
